I feel like just going in the kitchen and throwing out all the junk and processed foods but I don’t think my mother would appreciate that.
I’M SO EXCITED TO START MY TRULY HEALTHY EATING!!!! :D!!
I am not going to lie, I am very happy this is over. I cannot wait to eat again. I do not however regret doing this in the least. This week has really got me excited to eat healthy and I’ve really come to realize that healthy food can still be delicious. I will still be having a juice or two a day for the next week and eating mostly fruits and vegetables to get my body readjusted to solid foods. I feel good and I feel healthy and that’s what I wanted out of this. So all in all this has been a success :D

Yesterday was my sixth day of juicing and my first time going to the gym whilst juicing. I felt fine and didn’t feel weak or energy deficient….I also think that my teeth have gotten whiter this past week. I don’t know how or why but they definitely look whiter.

So I’ve realized I’m a terrible blogger because I haven’t been posting anything about my juicing journey. I kept forgetting to take pictures of everything and I haven’t been around my computer a lot. But I am here now and shall tell what has been going on.
Tuesday (Day 2)
Tuesday I woke up at 7 which I am not used to doing these days and I was a little dizzy in the morning. I’m guessing it was a combination of not sleeping much and not having enough juice the night before. I felt fine after an hour or so though when I got some juice in my system.
Wednesday (Day 3)
Wednesday was the first day I craved food. I went to my boyfriend’s house and had to watch him eat a delicious looking and smelling sandwich. I didn’t eat anything though so I was proud of myself. I just missed the act of eating and chewing.
Thursday (Day 4)
So yesterday was the toughest day yet. I was at my boyfriend’s house again and he made some delicious looking fish and salad. I still didn’t eat anything but I was pretty envious. I was really looking forward to this week being done. I also realized how much of my day revolves around food and eating (a lot!). I then decided that I am somewhat alright with that considering that food is fueling my body.
Today (Day 5)
So far I have only had one juice. I weighed myself this morning and have lost 6 pounds. I was going to go jogging this morning but I didn’t end up going so I can’t say how the juicing affects my energy whilst working out. I have yet to feel fatigued or anything so I’d say my energy levels are normal and I only feel hungry when its time to drink another juice. That being said this experience has been pretty good and I don’t feel deprived or weak.
So today didn’t really go according to plan. I was planning on waking up at 9:30 to make my first juice and then go jogging and go to a job interview thing. My phone was on super silent mode though so I didn’t hear my alarm and woke up at 11:45. I therefore went straight to the job interview without making any juices expecting to be back home within an hour. Buuut the lady asked me to stay and start the job training so I only got home at 4:30 and so I only had 1 and a half juices. I was in somewhat of a rush and so I didn’t take pictures of anything like I wanted to. But for the rest of the week I will document this process properly.
As for the juices, the first one was pretty good but it had a powdery texture because there is spirulina and wheatgrass poweder in it. The second one was also good but it had a bit too much celery flavour to it so next time I think I will add less celery. I can’t really tell you if I felt hungry in between drinking them or if I had energy throughout the day but I will definitely be talking about that kind of stuff for the next 6 days.
